walking on sunshine
a new, durable, waterproof, and recycled children’s shoe.
During my color and style research, I was drawn to the idea of sunshine. I knew I wanted to stick with bright, happy yellows and oranges. I love the look of simplistic shoes that are easy to slide on and off. In addition, I wanted to create something easy and fun for kids to wear everyday- whether that is in the rain or shine.
Initially, I wanted to have contrasting black laces. I quickly realized a slip-on shoe is more convenient and easier for kids.
